Well went to a class on diabetes this morning. It took longer to drive to the class then it actually took for the class. It was a great reinforcer for what we are doing. We went over portion control and carbs. I still believe get rid of the wheat.

This is the start of week three of going wheat free. After going to the doctor and finding out that my numbers for blood sugar and triglycerides were out the door, I decided to cut the bad out of my diet. My wife has a face book friend that suggested that we read Wheat Belly. We saw so many similarities that it wasn't even funny. I started my wheat, starch elimination with the 21 day fast we are involved with church. I can tell a major difference in my attitude and energy level. My numbers are going down. Sugar levels went from 300s to mid to lower 100s.
